Conditions prior to the Sub-project implementation
The Dondo Hole Footpath is located on a hillside in the village of Park Hill. Access to the area was difficult by foot in all weather as the footpath path was steep and narrow. There was no proper drainage and channeling for large amount of water that rushed down the hillside during the rainy season. Residents in the village feared for their homes, property and welfare whenever it rained, there are reports of incidents where persons had falls in the rainy season.
