Conditions prior to the Sub-project implementation
The Pepper Village Road was unpaved and eroded which made it potentially dangerous for pedestrians as the area was steep. The poor state of the road was a major concern for residents as when it rained residents had difficulty travelling. There was also incidents of flooding of homes and yards when it rained as there was no proper drainage and there were areas along the village road that became impassable.
